Real Madrid usually sports 3 jerseys for every single season. A white home jersey. A black or dark navy away jersey + a colored third jersey which can vary highly in the color. The white home jersey can be found with contrast colors either in purple , blue or black.
For the season 2010/11 the away jersey is dark navy or the official name of the color: legend blue. The contrast color is lime green. The adidas 3-stripes are white and so is the sponsor logo to the center front.

For the 10th season adidas has delivered a specially designed match ball for the UEFA Champions League.
A new ball launches every season carrying the name Finale XX. For the season 2010/11 there is a small anniversary since it is the 10th season running that a new ball is coming out thus FINALE 10.
The ball will be used all the way until the final match of the 2010/11 season. The final will stand at the Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday the 28th May. On this occasion a special Final Match Ball will be launched in a design which incorporates the city of London + the Wembley stadium.

The ball is incorporation the logo of the UEFA Champions League which is the star ball. The star ball is seen in the squares of black and blue. The color scheme for the season 2010/11 is blue-black on a white background. Since 2002 adidas is producing a special match ball for the World Cup final. The finale ball for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa is called Jo’bulani. The ball is technically speaking the same as the Jabulani but the design on the outside is different. Jabulani means “to celebrate” while the name JO’BULANI is a tribute to the host city of the World Cup Final Johannesburg, commonly known both as “City of Gold” and Jo’burg. While the ball still features the iconic South African-inspired design of the JABULANI, the main colour of the JO’BULANI is gold.

The official match ball for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa was presented on the 4th of December 2009. The name of the ball is Jabulani, which means ‘to celebrate’ in isiZulu, and it is the 11th edition of adidas’s FIFA World Cup balls.

The pattern of the ball is made up of 11 different colors with a reference to the 11 players on a football team, the 11 official languages in South Africa, and the 11 South African communities.

The ball has been criticized by Brazilian goal keeper Julio Ceasar for looking like some kind of beach ball. However, adidas would claim that the ball is a new and better version of any ball previous made available to world of soccer. Adidas would point at several new technologies being applied.

Furthermore the Jabulani comprises eight thermally bonded 3D panels that have been, for the first time ever, spherically molded to make this ball a perfectly round football that is more accurate than ever before.

The new Real Madrid home jersey for the season 2010/11 has now been made available for pre-orders.
The jersey will probably launch on Saturday the 8th of May and be presented at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid for the home game against Athletic Bilbao. Real Madrid might also play the season’s last match in the new jersey which is away to Malaga. The fact that Malaga is playing in a white-blue kit might mean though that Real Madrid will play in the dark navy away kit on the occasion.

The jersey is obviously white for the most part of it. However, the contrast color for the season 2010/11 is blue which is a novelty. For the season 2009/10 the contrast color was black and a bit of gold. For the season 2006/07 the contrast color was purple. For the season 2007/08 it was also blue. For the season 2008/09 it was black / silver. So the most popular contrast colors in the case of Real Madrid are black and blue. Blue is also a color which is part of the Real Madrid crest. It used to be purple but after a makeover of the visual brand image the color changed to a blue color conceived as being more modern.

Real Madrid has two stores itself in Madrid. One at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and one in downtown Madrid very close to Puerta del Sol.
Whether the sales figure stems alone from these two stores is unclear or whether the sales also include what other retailers in Madrid have sold. Among the other retailers carrying the official Real Madrid jersey with the Ronaldo 9 name and number printing is another Madrid institution: El Corte Ingles. El Corte Ingles is a department store with branches across the Iberian peninsula. El Corte Ingles used to run the realmadrid.com online shop but since they are working primarily within the Spanish market this job was ultimately taken over my an UK online retailer with a more global perspective. However, El Corte Ingles has been well-stocked sports departments in its’ Madrid stores and one must assume that they have a considerable sale at these stores. Especially of Real Madrid but also of most other major Spanish teams including town rival Atletico Madrid + the usual suspects internationally such Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, AC Milan, Inter, Juventus, FC Bayern etc.

The ball marks a small anniversary. It is the 10th year that adidas produces a special Finale ball for the Champions League final. The 2010 edition of the ball features all emblems of the previous 9 Finale balls in order to celebrate this anniversary.

The choice of colors to suit a Spanish context is red for Spain and white for Madrid. The link to Madrid through the white color might be slightly dubious (white is often used as background color in order to create a contrast – but what has that got to do with Madrid?). Red is often associated with Spain though. Red is found in the flag, in the red wine, in the blood from the bull fighting , the heat , the burned soil etc.

However, due to the fact that the ball is a special anniversary ball the local influence in the design is somewhat downplayed compared to previous editions of the Finale ball.
But nevertheless there is all a special logo for the Madrid 2010 Champions League Final just as has been the case in the past.

The logo incorporates the sandy, dusty, dry colors of La Mancha. The plateau where Madrid is located and where the soil is very dry and has this golden red color. One can see some patterns similar in style to tradition Spanish art work and a couple of footballs are also present in order to make the connection to the Champions League. And of course “the trophy with the big ears” which it is all about is also portrayed in the graphic.

The American athletic footwear company Brooks is the official kit sponsor for the Chilean national soccer team.
The company has recently launched a new kit for the Chilean national team which will be worn during the World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
The kit consists of red jersey, blue shorts, and blue-white socks. The name and number kit with a small front number , a large back number , and a player name is all white.

The jersey is an all red affair. No contrast colors. Only the logos come in a different color than the basic red jersey. There is a Chile logo to the left chest. The white lettering surrounding the Chilean flag reads: Chile – Federacion Futbol de Chile. Chile – Chilean Football Association. There is a Brooks logo to the right chest. To the center of the jersey the small front number used by national teams will be placed. There is also a Brooks logo to the left arm sleeve.

In 1986 when Argentina won the World Cup in Mexico the team played two very famous matches. The first one came in the quarter finals against England which ended up with a 2-1 victory for Argentina.
